Gypsy Feast

Written by Robbie Smith

Follow the pathway that leads from the sea
To the mist covered mountains for that’s where I’ll be
There’s bread and meat a plenty and kegs of crimson wine
Bring some dancing girls and we’ll drink and we’ll dine
Singing gypsy songs till the break of the day
Bring your mandolin and we’ll play
Yes we’ll pla-a-a-a-ay, Ah-a-a-a-a-ah, we’ll play

A fire is a-blazing upon the mountainside
There’s feasters to the left side and lovers to the right
There’s thunder in the valleys where hell and heaven fight
But here there’s only pleasure tonight…
Tonight Ah-a-a-a-ah, tonight

Gypsy Dance Break

Follow the pathway that leads from the sea
To the mist covered mountains for that’s where I’ll be

Light Break

The gypsy feast is over, the coals are burning low
The harvest moonlight pales with the dawn’s horizon glow
Throughout the coming winter we’ll be waiting for the day
When you’ll bring your mandolin and we’ll play
Yes we’ll play. We’ll play.
